W magazine has commissioned 15 artists to conceptualise the political campaign poster, giving a blank canvas to graphic artists including Jeremy Deller, Zoë Buckman, George Condo, Nina Chanel Abney and Toilet Paper’s Maurizio Cattelan.
The posters have been designed as part of W’s tenth anniversary art issue, inviting each creative to come up with the posters they would like to see. “In this charged election season, we should all show that we give a damn,” says team at W. Other creatives include Elmgreen & Dragset, Ridykeulous (Nicole Eisenman and A.L. Steiner), Raymond Pettibon and Marcel Dzama, Sanya Kantarovsky, Goshka Macuga and Kathryn Andrews.
