Junior Web Designer/Developer
Our client is a highly creative and innovative media company dedicated to creating industry-changing marketplaces for the high-end travel market. They are seeking a forward-thinking Junior Web Designer/Developer to join their fun and ambitious team to support the creative department with all things digital.
Key responsibilities:
-Design and develop online content and website features on a weekly basis.
-Work closely with Digital Designer on Wordpress updates.
-Support the design and build of various microsites for campaigns and sub-events.
-Provide design support to the marketing teams for social media channels, banners, and all online content.
-Keep up to date with digital trends & emerging digital solutions.
Experience Required:
-Experience with Wordpress, HTML, CSS. – ideally with customising themes.
-Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
-Experience with PHP, MySQL would be beneficial but no essential.
-Knowledge in PowerPoint/Keynote.
-Photography/video experience would be beneficial.
Background Knowledge required:
-Genuine interest and passion for all digital technologies.
-Able to bring new ideas to the table and initiate better practice.
-Self Starter and be able to learn quickly.
-Attention to detail and deadlines is essential.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Willing to travel if required.
