We are looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer who will be responsible for the front-end development as well as supporting wire framing and UX.
Web Developer Job Duties
Creating and testing Wordpress based websites with the up-to-date industry standards as well as servicing existing websites.
Responsibilities
Write efficient code by using best software development practices
Create responsive website layout/user interface by using standard HTML 5/CSS 3 practices
Creating working Wordpress-based websites with custom functionalities
Slicing provided designs and making them usable for coding
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining and servicing existing websites
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperate with creative to match visual design intent
Requirements
Proven working experience in web programming
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML 5 / CSS 3, PHP, JavaScript
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security
Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Familiarity with Invision, Sketch and Adobe Illustrator
