Director of Marketing & Business Development - Healthcare Sector
We are working with a midsize independent Healthcare agency, who are expanding their Business Development team and are looking for someone to develop and deliver the new business strategy for each of the agencies within the group.
We are looking for an experienced candidate able to drive new business across the three agencies, and to manage and coordinate our current sales and marketing activities. The sales and marketing function currently comprises of two sales managers and a new sales assistant who are responsible for lead generation, email campaigns, and ‘cold calling’.
You would direct/mentor the team and be the leader of pitch development and delivery for new business as well as support the Account Management teams on organic growth opportunities.
Skills and knowledge base
- Deep knowledge of the medical/healthcare comms and agency environment
- Demonstrable success in winning new business and achieving revenue growth in an agency
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- A love of science and medicine
- Comfortable leading pitch presentations, procurement discussions, and strategic discussions with clients/potential clients
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff in a variety of functions
