Job Description
Lead Global Healthcare Agency is currently seeking a Creative Director responsible for overseeing creative output for the business areas; Advertising,Medical Education, PR in their Paris office. Alongside the Managing Director, business leads, projects managers and the wider creative department, the Creative Director works collaboratively and effectively to ensure a fully integrated approach with the communications business. They are responsible for ensuring that high quality, emotive and authentic creative work is delivered in line with client needs and new business pitches, both for International and domestic clients.
The Creative Director is the lead conceptor and guides the Art Directors and Designers in creating ideas and solutions. The role demands creative aptitude, cutting-edge knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, budgets and deadlines. We are looking for a leader who can work with our established French team to help nurture and shape the creative department, driving objectives to achieve success.
Responsibilities
Develop creative concepts for clients and new business pitches
Attend pitches to sell the creative story
Negotiate with clients to amend ideas in line with their wishes and explain what is and is not possible
Lead projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines
Evaluate and, if necessary alter, the content of projects before completion
Ensure all the organisation’s or client’s visuals are consistent with the overall brand
Sign off on creative projects before they are presented to the client
Effectively manage and mentor team members through regular 1:1s
Provide strategic input and oversight of the creative department alongside the business leads
Work with Finance and HR to discuss resourcing requirements based on utilisation and business need
Collaborate with project managers to oversee workflow and maintain a clear overview of team capacity
Interpret and understand utilisation figures, working within budgets and timeline management
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in order to pitch ideas to clients and explain ideas to members of the creative and account team
- Ability to create concepts for others to work on, having a keen awareness of current trends in healthcare communications
- Interpersonal skills are a must, whilst having a clear creative vision while remaining open to others’ ideas
- Stellar leadership skills are required in order to hire, develop, support and oversee the creative team
- A pro-active and conscientious manner with an aptitude for creative design and an abundance of great ideas
- Strong time and self-management skills with ability to work and advise across multiple projects and issues
- Fluent in French and English languages
